Mee healthcare announces the launch of its sixth mee healthcare centre tomorrow. The new 1530 sq. ft. ‘see mee’ and ‘hear mee’ - vision and hearing centre - is located in the Sainsbury’s superstore at Weedon Road, Northampton. Dental care, ‘dental mee’; and wellbeing care, ‘wellbeing’ mee - will be launched at the centre in the coming months, providing high quality and affordable dental and wellness care, as well, to our patients.
Dr Gail Lese, Founder and Chairman of mee healthcare, said:
“Following the strong demand for mee services and products at our first five centres in Leeds, Ely, Cheltenham, Kings Lynn and Gravesend, I’m delighted we’re continuing to develop our relationship with Sainsbury’s and bringing mee healthcare services to Northampton. Our centres are designed to provide our customers with access to essential healthcare services at accessible prices and in convenient locations, with extended opening hours.”
“mee healthcare provides state-of-the-art, one-stop clinics for health and wellness services and products. This represents a new approach to healthcare delivery, enabling customers to benefit from a range of services at affordable prices including hearing, vision, dental and health checks. By combining these services under one roof, mee healthcare aims to provide the highest quality customer service, and to support better and more efficient outcomes and earlier detection of underlying health issues for our patients.”
Dr Lese further commented:
“In addition, mee healthcare is committed to serving the people and the communities in which it operates. We are proud to confirm today, as we have done with other openings, that mee Healthcare will be donating ten per cent of the first week’s trading turnover to two local charities.”
Anita Stevenson, Branch Manager, Cancer Research UK commented:
“We are so grateful for receiving this kind donation. Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity conducting research into the causes, prevention and treatment of over 200 types of cancer. 1 in 3 people will be affected by cancer in their life time, Cancer Research UK seeks to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. We do not receive any government funding and so rely heavily on donations from the business community and the public; therefore this business donation will really help our very worthy cause.”
Jenny Hirst, Co-Chair of the Insulin Dependent Diabetes Trust said:
“We welcome mee Healthcare to Northampton, and are very grateful to them for supporting our charity. It will enable us to continue our work of offering help, support and information to people with diabetes and their families and to run our popular confidential helpline.”
