Through the ongoing 501c(3) partner program, Bloomfire can demonstrate its support by providing a space for these dedicated, service-oriented communities to easily share knowledge and more effectively engage with each other to achieve their goals.
Austin, TX (PRWEB) December 06, 2012
Bloomfire, the company that is revolutionizing knowledge sharing in business, today announced that the company will be partnering with 501c(3) organizations across the country, selecting one accredited charity or nonprofit each month to receive a free Bloomfire deployment and unlimited subscription. Potential 501c(3) partners are defined as funds or foundations that are organized and operated exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, testing for public safety, literary, or educational purposes, to foster national or international amateur sports competition, to promote the arts or for the prevention of cruelty to children or animals. Eligible organizations can apply for the program through a simple online process and are chosen at random on the first week of the month by the Bloomfire team.
Most recently, Bloomfire has partnered with the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) Northern Division, a non-profit organization for alpine ski and ski racing dedicated to providing helpful resources to parents, officials and coaches. The USSA received a free Bloomfire to jumpstart their internal communications system and provide a better user experience for their distributed network of parent volunteers.
“As it is with many other charitable organizations, parent volunteers play pivotal roles within all facets of the USSA: supporting competitions and spearheading special events, as well as ensuring that daily operations run smoothly,”said Dave Bayless, USSA Northern Division parent-volunteer. “With members stretching across 700 miles, Bloomfire has unlocked the power of our collective skiing knowledge and eliminated the challenges we faced in accessing real-time answers to questions and educating new and existing members on our goals as an organization.”
As a tool, Bloomfire provides a fast and easy way for any one of a charity’s knowledge experts to answer questions or access necessary forms or paperwork. Members or volunteers can build a customized, tailored database to store all content for easy reference, featuring capabilities to search for information and comment on posted content within the Bloomfire.
“Charitable organizations are only as strong as the membership and volunteer communities they inspire,” said Heidi Farris, VP of marketing at Bloomfire. “Through the ongoing 501c(3) partner program, Bloomfire can demonstrate its support by providing a space for these dedicated, service-oriented communities to easily share knowledge and more effectively engage with each other to achieve their goals."
