Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) December 11, 2012

The Allen School of Health Sciences released their official employment numbers for November. Thanks to the outstanding efforts of Allen School’s Career Services department, 1,133 graduates from the 2012 fiscal year will start a career in the medical field, which encompasses over 90% of the School’s graduates who were available for employment.

“Our Career Services department is second-to-none and continues to improve on its impeccable reputation. We go above and beyond and do any and everything in our power to help our students get hired in the medical field” said Jena Bandini, Senior Director, Student Affairs.

The 1,133 hired graduates found employment at hospitals, doctor’s offices, and various other medical facilities throughout the country in a variety of specialties. Allen School offers a Medical Insurance Billing and Coding online course with students all over the country. A Medical Assistant program is offered out of the Brooklyn, NY, Queens, NY, and Phoenix, AZ campuses, and a Nursing Assistant program is available at the New York campuses.

Executive Vice President Jason Teich credits many factors for the amazingly high numbers. “This starts with our Admissions department finding the right student, and our Financial Aid department qualifying that student for the most funding possible. Then our amazing teachers and Student Services departments make sure that the students are learning and enjoying their time in school. Finally, our Career Services department matches the student with an internship when applicable that fits them and assists the student throughout the job search.”

"Our outstanding 51-year reputation in the medical field also helps, Teich continued. "Since employers know Allen School and the quality graduates that we produce, they very often try to hire our graduates before those of other schools."
