Springfield, MO (PRWEB) December 07, 2012
Rural Compassion, an organization dedicated to serving rural communities throughout the United States, recently aligned with Convoy of Hope.
“The alliance strengthens both organizations,” says Hal Donaldson, president of Convoy of Hope. “As we work together to serve our communities, we’re ensuring more people are helped through Convoy of Hope.”
According to Donaldson, Rural Compassion personnel will work on Convoy of Hope’s Global Initiative team, which focuses on feeding children, sharing expertise and knowledge in agriculture and soil development, logistics, transportation and distribution of food and supplies.
“For many years Rural Compassion has taken help and hope to the rural areas of the United States,” adds Donaldson. “Together we will utilize that foundation to continue to make a difference in the lives of impoverished children and hurting families around the country.”
Through the alliance, Convoy of Hope’s efforts to help those less fortunate in rural communities will be enhanced by the established relationship of the Rural Compassion network.
