Alexander Youth Network seeks donations of clothes, books, toys, music and other personal items for the children of Alexander Youth Network through the Angel Network gift collection. Individuals, families, businesses and organizations can select gifts to donate from a child’s “wish list.” Donations must be delivered to Alexander Youth Network’s main campus by Saturday, Dec. 15. For more information, click here.

Angel Network is Alexander Youth Network’s largest annual gift collection. Once all donations are collected, a team of volunteers wrap the gifts and deliver them to each child at all Alexander Youth Network locations and affiliates throughout the region. Extra donations received above and beyond will be collected in KidZarama, Alexander’s on-site facility that houses in-kind items for children who arrive on campus without toys or other needs.

Each year, Alexander Youth Network serves more than 7,000 children with, or at high risk of, serious emotional and behavioral problems often induced by neglect, abuse or other types of trauma. Although the “kids of Alexander” come from a variety of situations, many are from low-income homes, have been separated from their natural families, or live in the care of Alexander’s therapeutic foster parents. “The holidays can be an especially difficult time for our children,” said Craig Bass, CEO of Alexander Youth Network. “Donations received through the Angel Network mean so much and show these kids the care and support they get at Alexander is an extension of their community.”

Financial contributions also are welcome, and volunteers are needed to help wrap and distribute gifts. For more information or to make a donation to the Angel Network, visit http://www.alexanderyouthnetwork.org/angelnetwork.

Alexander Youth Network’s Angel Network would not be possible without the support of Graebel Relocation Services who donated 500 boxes and packing supplies. As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, Alexander Youth Network is supported, in part, by the community through charitable donations. To make a contribution, visit the “Getting Involved” section of http://www.alexanderyouthnetwork.org.
