Entourage Yearbooks announced their 3rd Annual National Yearbook Competition awards, recognizing Carbon Career & Technical Institute from the state of Pennsylvania with the distinctive Grand Prize Overall Yearbook. The Entourage National Yearbook Competition is a nationally sponsored contest judging school yearbooks across the dimensions of creativity, originality, and journalistic relevance. Hundreds of schools entered across all fifty states at the Elementary, Middle School, and a very competitive High School level.
This achievement recognizes Carbon Career & Technical Institute for putting together a distinctive yearbook at the High School level. Their entry was submitted at the end of June 2012 and was officially awarded on October 31st, 2012. Carbon Career & Technical Institute’s yearbook was selected from hundreds of schools who had submitted entries from around the country.
In regards to their award winning yearbook submission, Michele Klock shared “I am especially proud of the students' hard work, creativity, and dedication to producing such a high-quality book. This was our first year working on the yearbook, for me as an advisor, and for the students creating and publishing a completely original book. I am sure we will continue to improve and build on our achievements from the 2012 edition, and I look forward to what 2013 and beyond will bring!”
More about Entourage’s National Yearbook Competition
This is the 3rd annual Entourage National Yearbook Competition in recognition of school’s with yearbooks distinctively created by students and school volunteers. To participate, schools had to submit their yearbook content into categories for overall yearbook, page design, photography, and cover design. This year over 300 schools entered the competition.
Judging of the contest entries is based on a balanced rating across the dimensions of creativity, originality and journalistic relevance. Schools are judged separately at the Elementary, Middle School and High School levels. The judging committee is composed of both expert yearbook journalists at Entourage and invited yearbook experts from across the industry.
