KOSCIUSKO, Miss. – Author Peggy A. Keady invites readers to recognize and appreciate the presence of God in everyday life with a new collection of poetry and prose, “Glimpses of Glory” (published by WestBow Press).
Keady compiles a collection of writings that chronicle her walk of faith over the years. Her “Christmas Letters” give praise to the holiday and honor cherished, warm traditions; other letters, called “Faith Notes,” cover a variety of topics and were originally published in Keady’s church newsletter.
“Glimpses of Glory” covers experiences in the author’s life in a variety of settings including Georgia, Mississippi, New York and Canada. The main characters are the Holy Spirit, Keady’s family, her friends and her beloved pets. She writes openly and honestly about how her strong Christian faith has improved other relationships in her life.
After learning about God from her Christian parents and studying the Bible and theology, Keady went on to live and work in different areas of North America. “During those years I became aware that although I knew the Word of God, the next step was to learn how to apply it in my everyday life,” she writes. “I came to understand that applying the Word of God is an absolute necessity for a believer to have any insight into the spiritual dimension of earthly life.”
