Element Mobile customers in Waupaca County will experience improved service thanks to the addition of a new cellular tower south of Manawa and west of New London, along Highway 54.

John Steele, director of engineering and network operations at Element Mobile, said the new tower will host more calls, increase data and network speeds, and expand coverage.

“With more residents moving away from traditional landline phone service, Element Mobile strives to provide exceptional mobile coverage to our customers,” Steele said. “Element Mobile is committed to improving the reliability of mobile coverage for all users in this area. By having better wireless coverage it will ensure safety and communication needs to the expanding base of wireless customers.”

The Royalton tower has been built between four other cell tower locations in Waupaca County. The new tower will specifically provide better coverage along Highway 54 in the towns of Lebanon, Little Wolf, Mukwa, and Royalton.

This is the fourth tower Element Mobile has installed since it started in 2011 and has plans for more additions before the end of the year.
