Andrew Seybold’s Wireless University will present an intensive six-hour seminar that explores the status and directions of the worldwide mobile communications industry at the upcoming GSMA Mobile World Congress, it was announced today by mobile communications industry analyst and consultant Andrew M. Seybold. The Congress takes place February 25-28 in Barcelona, Spain.

Entitled “Mobile Today and Tomorrow,” the program will focus on the transition to next-generation mobile technology, devices and applications and will include an examination of the 4G landscape in Europe, Asia, the United States, China, India, Latin America and the rest of the world. Priced at US$510.00 (395 Euro), the seminar will take place 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013, at Fira Gran Via. About 450 seats will be available.

“Seminar attendees will receive a solid grounding in mobile communications as it exists today as well as a view into the future of this rapidly changing industry,” said Seybold, one of the world’s leading authorities on technology and trends shaping the mobile world. “For the first time in the history of mobility a worldwide standard is being deployed. We will look at the successes and failures of network operators that deployed early and what can be expected with the advent of LTE Advanced technology.”

Registration for the Wireless University seminar is separate from Mobile World Congress registration, but potential attendees must be registered for the Congress in order to enroll. “With some 70,000 mobile industry leaders expected to attend this year’s World Congress, along with approximately 1,500 exhibitors, we expect our 450 seats to sell out quickly, so we encourage anyone interested in this valuable program to act now,” Seybold said.

The seminar content is especially relevant to a number of interest groups including mobile convergence executives and entrepreneurs; user companies migrating to a mobile workforce; business professionals new to mobile; mobile technology evaluators and implementers; and developers of the content, applications, devices and technologies that comprise the industry.
