The Baltimore Orioles’ Manager will serve as the emcee for the “Roast on the Coast” Celebrity Fundraiser, benefiting the Working Warrior Nation.
The “Roast on the Coast” will feature the roasting of MLB player and manager, Frank “Hondo” Howard on Saturday, January 12th at 6pm at the Westin Hotel in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia.
"We need to help establish these heroes back in the job market. What your organization and subsidieris are doing is truly the American way," says Howard. "This program is giving these heroes a chance to return to society with a sense of honor, respect and dignity by helping them learn a trade and to get back into the job market." The Roast on the Coast will serve as host to past MLB and NFL celebrities such as Dick Bosmon, Jim French and Stump Merrill. Also in attendance will be Casey Cox, Tim Cullen, Bill Connors, Bobby Wine and more.
“This event is going to be hilarious. We have some incredible talent flying in from all over the country for this one night event,” says Event Director, Charlie Haje. “What’s even more important, here, is that we raise awareness and funding for the Working Warrior Nation. It’s a great organization that needs our support for our retired and wounded veterans who are getting back into the private sector workforce.”
