The Salvation Army has been one of the main organizations that have aided with Hurricane Sandy relief, and has helped provide aid to the hundreds of thousands of people who needed it most after the storm. Loyaltyworks feels that donating to the Salvation Army is the best way to get aid directly to families and individuals that were affected.
Loyaltyworks also wanted to donate to a deserving local charity, and chose to donate to the Atlanta Bully Rescue. The Atlanta Bully Rescue is an organization that rescues pit bulls in southeast Atlanta and provides them with caring, loving homes. They also teach the importance of spaying and neutering, and work to dispel the belief that pit bulls are strictly an aggressive breed.
