We chose Meridian because we were looking for more than just a kiosk manufacturer.
Aberdeen, NC (PRWEB) June 28, 2012
Today, Meridian announced the release of a custom dealer self-service solution for Adam Technology Partners. The Automated Drop-Off Assistance Mechanism (ADAM) kiosk can integrate into most Dealer Management Systems, allowing for sharing and updating of data. The ADAM system will enable auto dealerships to offer customers full-service for their vehicles via self-service technology. Utilizing the ADAM system, auto dealership customers will have the ability to view services by their vehicle year, make, model and odometer reading. Consumers will be able to select services, schedule their appointments, pay for services, drop off and pick up their keys and schedule their next appointment completely outside the dealership building. “We chose Meridian because we were looking for more than just a kiosk manufacturer. We wanted a true partner that not only built the hardware but understood the self-service market and could provide insight into consumer preferences and system components which would maximize their service experience” stated Tony Santo, CEO & Managing Director at Adam Technology Partners, LLC.
Meridian developed a custom kiosk to help dealerships transition from their convenient “Night Drop-Off Box” to a more full-service solution. The ADAM system provides a lifestyle change for customers; providing the freedom and knowledge to make purchasing decisions for their vehicle without the pressure and time constraints of dealership service departments. Chris Gilder, Founder and CEO, of Meridian stated “We listened to Adam Technology Partner’s vision and wanted to create a kiosk solution which matched in style and efficiency and could be easily implemented by dealerships nationwide. The ADAM system provides just that.”
Positive impact on dealership customer service
Vehicle maintenance currently represents 55% of revenue generation for dealerships monthly. With the current economic condition having a negative impact on vehicle sales, dealerships are looking for new ways to attract and engage customers. The ADAM system allows dealers to create a self-service solution for time constrained customers who need to have their vehicles maintained but don’t have the time to wait in a lobby. The ADAM system extends the hours of the dealership for expanded maintenance opportunities while providing greater service solutions for busy customers. Tony Santo continued “After working with other kiosk manufacturers, we selected Meridian because they could deliver the 110% that we require. We feel we have found a partner whom we can trust to deliver superior products and solutions.”
