The coupon management system allows the user to manage any deal they have purchased and was developed to be compatible with any deal provider no matter how they handle coupon purchases. It includes an option that simply requires the user to forward the coupon email they receive from the vendor to their (at)coupon(dot)blipadeal(dot)com email address. Another option is to upload the coupon manually through the user-friendly interface. The final method allows the user to purchase the deal and then merely click the “keep track of it” button. This will automatically grab the information related to the purchase and store it within their Blip A Deal account. The user then simply has to upload the coupon for safe storage.
Furthermore users can set reminders to use their coupons (either via email or through mobile push technologies), track whether they have used a particular coupon and also set the expiry date. This system also alleviates the problem of having to log into many different mobile applications, search through emails or log into a multitude of websites to get their coupons.
An upgrade of Blip A Deal’ s mobile applications are also imminent which will enable users to redeem their stored coupons directly from their smart phones, removing the need to print out the coupon in order to redeem them.
