37th Annual Pancakes On The Plaza – Santa Fe, New Mexico July 4th

Back for the 37th year in a row Pancakes on the Plaza is set for July 4 with breakfast served from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and entertainment from 8 a.m. to approximately 2:15 p.m.. This annual event is put on each year by the Rotary Club of Santa Fe and the Santa Fe New Mexican. The Santa Fe Plaza is located in the downtown area at the corner of Lincoln Avenue and West Plaza Avenue. This is a “Featured Event” on the SantaFe.com event calendar.

Now in it's 37th year, Pancakes On The Plaza continues to be one of the Santa Fe's favorite yearly events, drawing large numbers of locals. As event partners, The Rotary Club of Santa Fe and The Santa Fe New Mexican proudly carry on this tradition — donating significant time and volunteer resources to ensure success. Proceeds from the event are split between Rotary Club of Santa Fe and The Santa Fe New Mexican, and given to not-for-profit organizations that meet the grant criteria of each organization. Santa Fe's love of Pancakes On The Plaza has grown beyond the 4th of July. Now in its third year, The Pancake Of The Year Contest drives people to local restaurants to vote for their favorite flapjack — with the winner receiving the coveted Golden Spatula on the 4th in front of thousands. It's a lot of fun and the proceeds provide even more revenue for the community outreach efforts of Pancakes On The Plaza.

Hutton Broadcasting radio stations 98.1 KBAC, 107.5 Outlaw Country, Project 101.5, ESPN Santa Fe, BLU 102.9, and 1260 AM KTRC are proud to be a sponsor and underwriter of the 37th annual Pancakes on the Plaza.

Schedule of Events:

  •     7 am-Noon: Breakfast Served!
  •     7 am-Noon: Children's Activities: Coloring Contest – Win a new Bicycle from Wal-Mart! (in the coloring tent on the west side of the Plaza)
  •     7 am-Noon: Silent Auction – Bid on great stuff and support Santa Fe's children and families (in auction tent on west side of the Plaza)
  •     7 am-5 pm: Arts and Crafts Show (on Palace Ave. and Lincoln Ave.)
  •     7 am-1 pm: Car Show (vintage and cool cars on Lincoln Ave.)

Entertainment Schedule:

  •     8:00 am: Welcome
  •     8:15 am: Vietnam Veterans of America, Northern NM 996 – Posting of Colors, Lisa Lashley, Bagpiper – National Anthem, Rose-Marie Lenahan
  •     8:30 am: Santa Fe Concert Band
  •     9:40 am: Santa Fe Men's Camarata
  •     10:30 am: Manzanares
  •     11:45 am: Santa Fe Vintage Car Association
  •     12:00 pm: Air National Guard Band of the Gulf Coast
  •     1:15 pm: Bus Tapes
