Ronan Conlon of Omaha, NE was one of 340+ racers to attempt the 2012 Spartan Death Race. Only 51 of the 340+ racers completed the Spartan Death Race, which is an extreme challenge / mud race that has only had a 15% finish rate since its inception. Conlon was also one of the 51 people to actually finish the race. Ronan acknowledges the success he has had was largely due to specific types of training regimens designed by Travis Stoetzel.
“Ronan was able to lose body fat, increase lean muscle mass and strength, as well as increase his overall conditioning from his special training program,” says Travis Stoetzel. “The obstacle-driven event requires competitors to complete a series of tasks, both mental and physical. Those who do finish take more than 36 hours to do so.”
The website for the Death Race is tagged with a slogan stating, “You May Die.” “The race is serious,” continued Stoetzel. “I wouldn’t advise going for it without the proper training. Ronan acknowledges the success he has had was largely due to the way he trained and prepared his mind and body for the race by using the specific types of training regimens I developed. It was a pleasure to hear he completed the race!”
According to the race’s website, the event is held annually in the small town of Pittsfield, VT. The Spartan Death Race gives ultra-endurance athletes the chance to test their mental and physical prowess like no other event on earth. Stoetzel’s personal website, and training products, include tips on aggressive training, for events such as The Spartan Death Race, as well as bodyweight training and coaching.
Travis Stoetzel is available to discuss Conlon’s completion of the race, his product (frankly titled) The B*llSh*t Report, and other related fitness topics. More information on Travis Stoetzel can be found by clicking here: http://www.travisstoetzel.com
