San Juan Hut Systems announces a new mountain bike stage race in Colorado and Utah, the San Juan Huts 200. The epic ride begins in Durango, Colorado and finishes in Moab, Utah.
Race director Kathy Hudson notes, “Colorado’s Durango to Moab Hut to Hut route is an epic tour with nothing short of epic views. Comprised of mostly back country forest service roads with plenty of single track options, the route will challenge all levels of riders while still being supremely enjoyable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness.”
Two events are available, a seven day supported stage race and a 48 hour solo adventure. The course is identical in both events and ends with a celebration party in Moab, Utah. The route begins with mountain climbs followed by rolling plateaus and concludes desert slick rock.
