BlueStripe Software, a leader in application and transaction monitoring for IT Operations, today announced that David Mountain has joined the company as vice president of marketing communications. With more than a decade of marketing and corporate communications experience with startup, growth and Fortune 500 companies, he is responsible for the development and delivery of key marketing programs and aligning them with BlueStripe’s sales initiatives.
“Dave has an impressive history of building and implementing successful marketing programs for growth-driven technology businesses,” said Chris Neal, BlueStripe CEO. “With BlueStripe’s continued, extraordinary growth, Dave’s product marketing experience will be valuable in addressing new opportunities as the market recognizes the need for transaction management.”
Previously, Mountain led the development of marketing programs for Qlik Technologies where he helped build the foundation of that company’s entry into the North American market. At Thomson Reuters, he ran marketing for the clinical software and content business unit. Additional experience includes marketing leadership positions at NetOctave and Optum.
“BlueStripe Software is positioned to be disruptive as we bridge the gap between the application and business transaction monitoring markets,” said Mountain. “We’re bringing innovative technology solutions to market that streamline the workload for IT Operations and support teams, and help companies deliver complex application-based services more efficiently.
