The awards honor companies and professionals in the following categories: automotive repairs, bakeries, health care professionals, home improvement contractors, hotels & travel, landscapers, local flavor, restaurants, seafood, shopping, wineries, in addition to several other categories.
Ratings for the Talk of the Town Award are calculated based on consumer-review websites and blogs, social networks, business rating services and other award information to determine the top companies across the country. This rating system is based on countless hours of research and almost 1 million online user reviews. The researchers spend thousands of hours monitoring all online ratings and feedback to calculate a fair and unbiased score. Only those high ranking businesses with a 4 or 5 star rating win the Talk of the Town News Customer Satisfaction Award.
The second award, the 2012 Best of Sturgeon Bay Award in the Chiropractors category was presented by the Sturgeon Bay Award Program. This annual awards program honors the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Sturgeon Bay area that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and their community.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category, focusing on quality rather than quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Sturgeon Bay Award Program and data provided by third parties. Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices to achieve exceptional marketing success in their local community, and have implemented programs to generate long-term value for their clients. These local companies help make the Sturgeon Bay area a great place to live, work, and play.
In receiving the awards, Dr. J G Moellendorf stated: “We are extremely honored to receive these awards for the second consecutive year. The staff at Moellendorf Chiropractic Office, Ltd. has been a part of Sturgeon Bay for 29 years, working hard to provide personal attention in a family-oriented environment.
