WomenCertified®, the collective voice of female consumers, has unveiled the results of a nationwide poll of thousands of women identifying the baby product brands they are most likely to recommend to others based on their consumer experience.
“It goes without saying that one of the most important product categories to women are baby products. Women have many choices when it comes to products for their infants, babies and toddlers, which is why it is so important to build brand preference among moms,” says Delia Passi, CEO and founder of WomenCertified and former publisher of Working Woman and Working Mother magazines.
Brands use advertising to drive preference, yet according to Nielsen, 92% of consumers say they trust recommendations of others above all other forms of advertising. And, according to numerous female consumer studies by WomenCertified, women are even more inclined to seek out the recommendation of other women.
“Honoring brands like Sealy and OshKosh B’gosh whose focus on product excellence and alignment with women’s identified preferences is important to our mission at WomenCertified, where women help other women with tough, consumer decisions,” Passi concludes. “Most importantly, when a woman sees the Women’s Choice Award on these products, she’ll know that these brands value the unique needs of her and her loved one.”
