OpenLink, the global leader in Transaction Lifecycle Management software, has won the 2012 Award for Excellence in Commodity Logistics from Commodities Now magazine. The magazine’s readers, industry participants, and the awards judges voted for OpenLink as the leader in the category. OpenLink’s solutions provide market participants with superior capabilities to manage physical bulk commodities and related logistics for power, gas, and bulk commodities.
Guy Isherwood, Editor of Commodities Now, commented, “Increasingly, clients require sophisticated decision support solutions when making time-sensitive, critical decisions for both the physical and financial aspects of their businesses. OpenLink impressed the judges with their offering for grid, pipeline and bulk scheduling, as well as their extensive capabilities which model risk simulations for physical scenarios using energy scenario management. We applaud OpenLink’s dedication to excellence, as this type of data is now a critical requirement for market participants, especially as the commodity trading and risk management landscape becomes more complex.”
Dr. Mark Greene, OpenLink CEO, said, “We are honored to have received recognition from Commodities Now, a prestigious industry publication.
