The battle against bed bugs continues. And to beat them, a report from the gothamist.com said that there was a new technique discovered. However, Bed Bug Bully said the use of bed bug spray remains the better way to get rid of them.
Based on the report, the said new technique is called “xenointoxication.” Basically, it is a Greek term for “poisoning the guest,” which takes place by taking in a deworming drug. The active ingredient of that said bed bug pill is ivermectin.
As shared in a post from nytimes.com, ivermectin kills the heart worms in dogs. It said that it's also used in humans, more on travelers and toddlers who pick up worms. And as it related, another study revealed that it is safe even up to ten times the normal dosage.
However, some people said that taking a bed bug pill seems too drastic of a bed bug treatment given that the pests do no transfer diseases. Besides that, Bed Bug Bully said that the effectiveness and safety of it still require further research. And even if the bed bug pill becomes legitimate, it said that it wouldn't solve the bed bug problems in hotels.
And because of all those reasons, Bed Bug Bully recommended the use of bed bug spray instead. As the spraying of the said pests was already a proven bed bug treatment, it stated that it is the best option to take.
Of all the bed bug sprays though, it asserted that its own Bed Bug Bully is what house owners, hotel owners/managers, pest-control contractors and any bed bug victim should get. Because it is pesticide-exempt, it said that it offers not only effective but also safe bed bug treatment. In addition, it also stated that it passed several federal programs and guidelines for pest solutions.
To prove that Bed Bug Bully is indeed safe and effective, the site encouraged the public as well to try its complimentary sample.
