Seagrove Beach, FL (PRWEB) January 09, 2013
Come January 18th, more musical talent will grace the landscape of South Walton beach communities than the quartz-white sand found on its shores. The 3-day 30A Songwriters Festival will feature more than 125 songwriters and over 250 performances in venues ranging from intimate listening rooms to spacious outdoor amphitheaters.
Sponsored by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County and presented by Visit South Walton, the event will span across various beach communities, such as Seagrove Beach, Gulf Place, and the ever-popular Seaside, which was made famous as the cinematic home of The Truman Show.
The lineup includes such musical artists as Lucinda Williams, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jeffrey Steele, and Fastball, among many others. Recently added talent includes Amy LaVere, Sugarcane Jane, Tammerlin and others.
Local oil, acrylic and watercolor artists will also be showing their original work, providing a visual backdrop for the music. Popular local artists such as Justin Gaffrey and 2013 Artist of the Year, Andy Saczinsky, will be among the many who will be displaying.
South Walton vacation rental managers have created accommodation packages for event goers, which include daily and weekly stays at private homes and condos, coupled with bike rentals for easy transportation between venues and performances.
