Infinite Corporation, a global IT integrator, has announced today the upcoming release of its AS/400 Query tool. This new Query toolset is named Infinite Cloud Query. The toolset uses web-based graphical Query tools to access the System I database (DB2/400) using simple commands. It provides direct writes to MS SQL ,Oracle, Excel and other popular databases and spreadsheets.

Users will find this tool easier to use, and about half the price. From a functionality perspective, the ability to directly write to Oracle or MS SQL realtime, makes the toolset much more functional than competing products.

The latest product from Infinite uses the existing data structure of the DB2/400 database and access information in ways that are easy to understand and use for report authors that are familiar with the AS/400 reporting format. Infinite Cloud Query competes directly with IBM’s Web Query product, but is faster, uses more sophisticated graphics, and is about half the price.
