Amazon Web Services Selects Automated Insights as a Semi-finalist

Automated Insights, the world leader in producing real-time, high-quality personalized content from big data, has been selected as a semi-finalist in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Start-up Challenge. AWS received over 2,500 applications for the 2012 Challenge, with applications coming from every state in the US and from 84 other countries. Automated Insights was selected as one of six semi-finalists in the Big Data & High Performance Computing category.

The AWS Start-up Challenge is one of the most competitive awards for early stage technology companies. In total, there were 24 semi-finalist companies chosen in four categories: Big Data & High Performance Computing, Business Applications and Consumer Applications and Gaming. Two finalists per category will be named sometime in early January, with grand-prize winners named in San Francisco on January 24th.

Automated Insights’ sophisticated artificial intelligence platform sifts through large data sets to spot interesting patterns, trends and insights, and then describes those findings in plain English with the tone, personality and variability of a human writer.
