In the past, scriptures were written to give directions on how to live life, intended to teach about divinity and virtue and were remembered and carried on further from one generation to the other with appropriate modifications. In his publication, Rays of Wisdom, Dilip J. Karnik has woven a wonderful set of stories that provides knowledge about what truly matters in life and how to live it better.
Karnik has showcased a number of stories into a single book that enlightens, inspires and teaches people of the most valuable lessons in this world. He tackles topics from making plans, finding happiness, judging people, persistence in every difficult situation, acquiring courage, importance of telling the truth, real essence of success and showing kindness and compassion. He explores the weaknesses of men, their tendency to judge with what they hear and see and their flaws and shortcomings that often lead them to doom.
Many of these stories are based on life experiences that happen every day. No matter how painful they may have been, it has a purpose, which is to teach something and make one stronger. Every bad thing in life leaves something good, something that may or may not change the direction of one’s path but will always let out something better from each person.
The author also give his own insights after every story, providing explanation and supplying helpful tips that serve as the guiding light to each value presented. In Rays of Wisdom, Karnik has skillfully written a compelling and pleasantly refreshing read that touches one’s heart deeply and spreads warmth to every soul. It will inspire, enlighten and impart valuable lessons that no amount of money can buy.
