InterAct is pleased to announce that the Perry County Sheriff’s Office in New Augusta, Mississippi has deployed a new emergency response system including new NG 9-1-1, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management (RMS) and Jail Management (JMS) applications.
The new system enables dispatchers and deputies real-time access to critical information they need to make life critical decisions when responding to a 9-1-1 call. For instance, the system enables dispatchers to locate a deputy’s vehicle while en-route and overlay aerial geographic data to help improve tactical awareness resulting in improved deputy safety and public safety outcomes.

Later in 2013, Perry County citizens can look forward to additional system improvements when the Sheriff’s office launches InterAct’s JMS JailTracker web module giving citizens, attorneys and the media instant web access to inmate information including bond details, arrest information and charges. “People will be able to use this website to get inmate information giving our Deputies time to focus on other urgent issues,” said Sheriff Smith.
