From author-poet Mimi L. Palmer, also known as Mimosa Queen of Life, My Life in Love is a boldly alluring new poetry book that explores two of the most exciting phases of a woman’s life: falling in love and rising to the peak of sexual intimacy and fulfillment. Palmer’s anthology of poems seeks to inspire couples and individuals to explore and enhance their sexual intimacy.

The poems in this book express Palmer’s experiences through her own intimate relationships. They are penned, collected and presented in two parts. The AM section reflects the times she has fallen in love echoing a sigh of longing and hoping as in the poems, When Can I See You Again? and To My Future Husband. The PM section, on the other hand, reflects her intimate relationships. It showcases erotic poetry with seemingly innocent titles such as Chocolate Brown, Plate Full of Love’n and Hunt for Gold.

An excerpt from her piece, Sexual Healing:

The stage is set!
Candlelight dancing sensually within its own flame
Lovemaking music, filling the air with aromatic notes of sexual flare
Purple lace panties with a peek-a-boo stare
Sexual healing is in the air
Rose petals placed effortlessly to lead the way
To the place I lay, awaiting sexual therapy to begin the play

Honest, provocative, and self-revealing, My Life in Love is a book that is deeply personal yet profoundly universal. Palmer hopes that readers will be able to relate to her life in love and bring healing and fulfillment into their relationships.
