International award-winning wildlife artist, Joshua Spies, has brought one of Africa’s most striking creatures to life in his recently released painting, “Sable”.

This piece features a herd of Sable Antelope, known for their magnificent horns and handsome coats. The antelope are drinking from an azure colored watering hole in eastern Africa.

“Sable evokes a feeling of tranquility,” Spies said. “Although these antelope are constantly battling danger, I tried to captured them in a moment of relaxation."
