“We are very excited about what Smart Information Server can do for our clients,” said Dale McVeen, President of Bishop Technologies.

Ottawa, Ontario (PRWEB) January 21, 2013

Acaveo and Bishop today announced that Bishop is including Acaveo’s Smart Information Server, a next-generation information governance platform, as a key product in their portfolio. Smart Information Server, which is scheduled for launch in June of 2013 and is expected to modernize the way enterprises identify, understand, manage, and automate their unstructured information, will be available through a private beta program between February 11th and April 5th.

Bishop, a full service provider of custom archiving for electronically stored information (ESI), e-discovery and data migration solutions, boasts a long-standing relationship with partners such as EMC (SourceOne) and Autonomy. With the Acaveo partnership, Bishop is adding information governance and security as strategic foundations to its business.

“We are very excited about what Smart Information Server can do for our clients,” said Dale McVeen, President of Bishop Technologies. “This powerful software will enable our clients to successfully adopt information governance over the contents of their file systems, SharePoint farms, Exchange Server mailboxes and public folders, as well as what they put in the Office 365 editions of Exchange and SharePoint.”

“Most enterprises today lack an actionable understanding over the information that they are responsible for,” said Geoff Bourgeois, Chief Technology Officer at Acaveo. “This is absolutely central to many of the challenges that enterprises are faced with today, whether in the areas of security, storage management, records management, or e-discovery, and we are excited to partner with Bishop to help clients address the root of their information management challenges.”

With Bishop’s early adoption of Smart Information Server, it will be prepared to assist its clients to use the software through the beta program. Acaveo has said that the beta program is private, so space is limited. Those interested in participating in the beta can request access at: http://www.acaveo.com/private-beta-access/.
