American consumers are asking more than ever for American made products and people can see the progress more frequently. Clarion County in Pennsylvania is raising money for the Clarion County Sportsmen for Youth Inc. via a fundraiser and the Made In America Store played a major role.
Clarion County Sportsmen for Youth Inc. is a non-profit organization that helps children learn to how to fish for trout, boating safety, archery, trap shooting and other outdoor activities. To help pay for the supplies and the trips, the company has a fundraiser to raise the money.
The fundraiser will offer a dinner and a raffle where people attending the banquet can raise money and win some gifts but with a catch. Each product raffled off must be American made and that is where the Made In America Store came in.
“When looking for products, we found that there are a lot of imposters that wear the ‘Made In America’ tag,” said a Clarion County Sportsmen for Youth, Inc. Representative. “Then we found the Made In America Store, where everything is 100% made in the U.S.A.”
Sunday, January 13th, a group of people showed to the Made In America Store, towing a trailer. Their orders? To fill the trailer with 100% American made products and not to bother coming back if there was anything foreign made for the raffle.
With the U.S. economy sluggish, the American consumers decided to take matters into their own hands by trying to buy American made items.
“If consumers started to buy American made products, more money will stay here in the United States,” said Mark Andol, owner and creator of the Made In America Store. “The more money that goes back into American companies, the more jobs it will save and create.”
