WorkSimple engineers are a big fan of GitHub’s Pull Request, which lets users tell others about the changes they’ve pushed to a GitHub repository. With WorkSimple’s GitHub integration, those pull requests are now attached to Social Goals so the development team doesn’t have to do double entry.
Here’s how it works: Users create a Social Goal under a product team, and then select a GitHub issue to link to. Now, any comments developers make related to that issue will automatically appear in WorkSimple under the Goal Activity Stream. The user can get instant feedback and recognition from coworkers and see how their work fits into the organization’s larger goals.
