After an upbeat first year, the Reneu brand is turning things up a notch by adding more silhouettes to the collection and highlighting it with bright, bold colors for Spring 2013.
Consumers could not get enough of the brand when it first debuted in Spring 2012. They wanted to see more therefore, designer and founder, Arti Upadhyay, expanded the Spring line by going beyond the ballerina style and adding a very feminine lace up sneaker, d’orsay flat and new variations of the ballerina. The entire collection is balanced with natural materials such as hemp, organic cotton canvas along with novelty metallics, rich ultra-suedes and bright bold textured fabrics.
Upadhyay says, "For our first season, I used very earthy colors and after seeing firsthand the overall enthusiasm for the brand, I decided to make the new line more fun and exciting so it would resonate with consumers even more.”
For the upcoming spring season the brand has increased their distribution channel to include significantly more retailers throughout the US and Canada and they predict an even wider distribution by the end of 2013. “We have expanded to a lot more retailers which is an exciting time for us since we also expanded the collection,” says Upadhyay. “We want consumers to know our story, be inspired by it and and love what we’re creating.”
Reneu is an eco-friendly footwear brand consisting of a signature molded memory foam footbed in every style. Upadhyay was inspired to start Reneu because she could not find shoes in the marketplace that were easy to walk in, eco-friendly, comfortable and of course feminine.
Reneu uses eco-friendly materials such as hemp, recycled polyester and organic cotton canvas. They also work with suppliers that produce traditional fabrics but have put in place eco-friendly manufacturing practices resulting in less carbon footprint overall.
The Reneu brand is part of Neu Aura Inc. which is committed to bringing quality, unique footwear that is animal free and eco-friendly. They do their best to ensure that their manufacturing process and materials leave minimal impact on the planet.
