Google released last week the names of the winners of the Malaysia Google Certification Program (GCP) Challenge, with two of the three spots won by representatives from SearchGuru Sdn. Bhd.
The GCP is an exam-based certification program that awards individuals with a Google Advertising Qualified Individual certification, a globally recognized stamp of approval awarded by Google to individuals with proven AdWords knowledge. The GCP Challenge, held between 26 Nov and 23 Dec last year, awards the top three scorers in the country with either a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or Samsung Galaxy S3.
SearchGuru’s PPC Specialist Jason Lau Kheng Wei and SEO Specialist Thiah Siew Ling bagged the second and third spots respectively.
SearchGuru, already a Google Certified Partner, now also has arguably the most number of Qualified Individuals in Malaysia at the time of writing, according to publicly available information at Google’s Partner Search portal.
