On January 17, 2013, Yumi Media released a statement following a Ditmas Park Patch article by Caitlin Nolan, regarding a community-supported vegetarian restaurant possibly making its way to Ditmas Park in Brooklyn.

According to the Ditmas Park Patch article, a vegetarian eatery may be headed to Ditmas Park, making those who choose to eliminate meat from their diets very happy. The article states that, “The restaurant will be a true community establishment, as Ditmas Parkers and spouses Danny Rosenthal and Jean Davis have turned to their neighbors for input on everything from the menu to the decor to the funding.”

The article mentions that Rosenthal and Davis first turned their direction towards the Flatbush Family Network for ideas and their opinion on bringing a vegetarian restaurant to Ditmas Park. According to Davis, "The neighborhood is lacking in vegetarian restaurants. Many of our friends and neighbors are health-minded, if not vegetarian, and would welcome the opportunity to eat out locally."

The article informed that Rosenthal and Davis are going to host a meeting at their home discussing the plans for the new restaurant and stating that, "All are welcome and potential investors, vegetarian enthusiasts and those with experience in the restaurant industry are especially encouraged to attend.”

Yumi Media applauded Rosenthal and Davis for pushing to get a vegetarian restaurant in Ditmas Park. “Promoting a healthy and meat-free lifestyle is always a good thing to see,” said Yumi Media representative Takara Licausi. “For tasty vegetarian eating at home, I recommend Quorn meat substitute products.”
