...our coaching process deeply and therapeutically addresses specific personal projects, business successes, general conditions and transitions in our client’s personal life, relationships or profession.

Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) January 17, 2013

Scott Gordon of Alexandria, VA, Certified Professional Life Coach and Counselor has taken an existing therapy practice and successfully rebranded it into a broader holistic, mindfulness based Life Coaching and Advocacy practice called Capital Coaching and Research Group.

Says Gordon, "at CCRG we do not see clients as damaged or flawed, and do not define unwanted experiences as “symptoms” or 'problems', but resolve to define the function and context of behavior in order to determine its 'workability', for the purposes of creating rich and meaningful lives. Our aim is to help you experience the fullness and vitality in life, which includes a wide spectrum of human experience, including the pain that inevitably goes with it. Emotional, Personal, Professional and Relational flexibility is our main goal."

The Group's primary objective according to their media package and website is life coaching with a focus on such issues as Marriage and Couples Skill Building, Highly Individualized Coaching, Cross Recommendations for Total Personal and Physical Growth, Mood Work, Anxiety Work, and Personal/Theoretical and Goal Based Project Management.

Scott Gordon says "there is a real need for a personal, mindful, caring, consultative coaching practice in the area. 'Life Coaching' is a broad term and so, with each practicioner you find a different approach. With us, our coaching methods are very therapeutic in nature and allow our clients to re-energize, re-focus, and succeed while also increasing their level of overall comfort and happiness. We have all reached a point in our lives where we feel as though we've plateaued, we made mistakes that have halted our personal, emotional and/or professional progress, we've reached an unhealthy point of {seemingly} no return. This isn't the case; there is always time to restart, rethink, recalibrate. We can always begin again to find the person we want to be and work to be that person."

With the announcement of the major shift in practice ideology and methodology, Gordon is also about to release a behavior theory based around the concept of "N.A.F.O.D" or "No Apparent Fear of Death".

At the moment, The National Defense University and it's publication, the Joint Force Quarterly have expressed interest in taking ownership of publishing the work which will address behavior profiling and the human capital management capabilities of the clandestine services and military.

Scott Gordon, CPC of Alexandria, VA has been certified as an expert Life Coach from The Institute of Professional Coaching.
