Intorrent Technologies' new office facility elevates its service, development and sales activities.

“Our new facility was designed specifically to foster creativity with our developers, great service with our technicians, and sharp focus with our sales and partner recruitment efforts.”

Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) January 22, 2013

Intorrent Technologies, a leading developer of Asterisk-based Voice over IP (VoIP) business phone solutions, has upgraded its office space, relocating to a custom-built contact center facility located only minutes from its previous location. The move will allow for increased technical support and development staffing to accommodate a fast-growing, nationwide customer base.

The 18,000-square-foot office space, located in the Shiloh Road business park near McFarland Parkway and Georgia 400, north of Atlanta, was constructed from the ground up to best meet the needs of Intorrent’s operation.

“Intorrent has grown exponentially over the past two years,” said Darrell Hensley, CEO. “Our new facility was designed specifically to foster creativity with our developers, great service with our technicians, and sharp focus with our sales and partner recruitment efforts.”

The facility is highlighted by an expansive network operations center (NOC), nicknamed the Watchtower. Home to the entire support team, with plenty of space for departmental growth, the Watchtower is the command center for communications with direct customers and partner resellers throughout the country. A collaboration-centric, code development space called the Matrix is home to Intorrent’s product development and engineering teams, and is unquestionably the geekiest area of the entire building. “Some very productive things happen in the Matrix. Some very nerdy things happen in the Matrix. Sometimes those things are one in the same; other times, they’re quite different. I mostly stay out of the way, but I do try to make sure that everyone’s getting sufficient sunlight,” said Hensley.

Intorrent has developed a quirky brand image in fitting with its “open source” and “unbundled service” ethos. Many of its marketing campaigns and videos are atypical of technology and business-to-business organizations. To push the limits of creative marketing content, both for internal and partner efforts, Intorrent has constructed an on-site video production stage with accompanying audio control rooms and editing suites. These resources will allow Intorrent to produce promotional and educational/tutorial content in house. Various actors, props, equipment and color key/green screens will be used to help Intorrent tell its story.

With large executive and sales offices, and multiple conference rooms and meeting areas, Intorrent’s new facility is ideal for hosting visitors and internal and external collaborations.

Several weeks into the relocation, the transition has been smooth, with no operational interruptions or downtime. All phone numbers and email addresses are unchanged. Intorrent can also be contacted at its new physical address: 6515 Shiloh Road, Alpharetta, GA 30005.
