Customers are still very excited about receiving high-quality publications that cover subjects that they are interested in, even in these tough economic times...a great sign for the print industry itself.
Austin, TX (PRWEB) January 22, 2013
The year 2012 didn’t bring about the end of the world, and it certainly didn’t bring about the end of print either. In fact, Shweiki Media Printing Company saw a 20 percent growth in total revenue, stemming from more clients and more print jobs. And this growth in clients and jobs represents a growth that the clients themselves are seeing with their publications. What the company has witnessed and heard from their clients, according to owner Gal Shweiki, is that the clients’ customers are still very excited about receiving high-quality publications that cover subjects that they are interested in, even in these tough economic times. All of this simultaneously represents the value of niche publications and the markets they serve, and a great sign for the print industry itself.
And this growth in revenue, stemming from the original, continuing desire for high-quality publications, will continue to fuel itself as profits from 2012 allow Shweiki to become even more efficient and proficient at producing high-quality publications and offering their clients the most quality service available. The growth has allowed the company to increase their customer service department and add additional support in the pre-press department, which has specifically helped assist with the free online magazines Shweiki’s clients receive with each order. The company has also grown to three full shifts on the press, allowing 24-hour production, five days a week.
And it’s not just an increase in personnel. Shweiki has also invested in more equipment and technology. Over the past few years, the company has purchased the most state of the art equipment in the industry, including the Mitsubishi MD 16 full web press, which is the newest commercial web press sold in the country and anchors Shweiki’s plant, helping them provide their clients with the highest-quality magazine production available in the world. With the growth seen in 2012, Shweiki will now be investing this month in a top-of-the-line saddle-stitcher, which will allow them to handle more and larger print jobs. Pre-press software has also been upgraded to the latest version of Kodak Insite for an even simpler and more hassle-free upload process for clients.
According to Vice President of Sales and Marketing, David Reimherr, Shweiki Media will also be rolling out some new offerings early this year that will make print more dynamic and interactive than ever. Free custom mobile websites and a free Facebook tab builder will be available for clients, as well as the ability for the magazine clients to offer these add-ons to their own advertising clients and sell them as a bundle. Shweiki will also be debuting Shweiki MediAR, which enables clients to use the company’s augmented reality software to spruce up their clients’ ads and the pages of the actual magazine, giving life to print like it’s never been done before.
In summary, this 2012 growth in revenue—stemming from, originally, a continuing interest in excellent publications and Shweiki’s ability to provide them—will allow Shweiki to continue doing in 2013 what they do best: provide high-quality, hassle-free printing for their clients with an on-time guarantee.
