InventHelp®, America’s largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Colorado, has designed a brace that could prevent severe hand contractions, thus enabling the wearer to retain the use of his or her hand. This invention is patented.

“Hand Brace” features two padded layers that are secured on either side of the hand via a hook-and-loop fastener strap. This design comfortably flattens the hand and knuckles. The device can be put on and taken off easily. The compact and easily portable Hand Brace design is ideal for use by individuals with nerve damage to the hands, individuals suffering from arthritis, comatose individuals and anyone with little or no use of the hand.

Hand Brace consists of two pads connected via a hook-and-loop fastener strap. The strap could also be used to secure the brace to the hand. Each pad would be rectangular in shape and measure four inches long, three and a half inches wide and one eighth to a half an inch thick. The pads would be made of plastic and foam. To wear, a user would position the brace so that one pad covers the back of his or her hand and the other covers the palm. The user then secures the strap around the pads and hand. Hand Brace would be producible in different sizes and colors.

InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 10-DVR-417 at (800) 851-6030.
