At Faceplant Boardriders there is an ongoing process of designing, creating and shredding progressive shapes. Faceplant Boardriders truly has a board shape for any rider out there, and they do everything they can to meet the demands of riders in every realm of longboarding. They are coming into the 2013 season with a lot of amazing upgraded shapes, new shapes, and especially a new Series of longboards they are calling the "Agent Series".
When FB Owner/Rider was asked why they started the Agent Series, he replied, "We felt we needed to amp up our Downhill and hardcore Freeride Shapes, so with this, we started the Agent Series. The Agent Series is going to be a line of longboards from FB that are stellar, high performance longboard decks that are designed and built to handle the downhill and freeriding spectrum of the longboard world. We started the Agent Series with what we believe will be one of the most well rounded boards of the Series, the Double Agent."
The Double Agent was built with the progressive rider in mind. It is designed to be a topmount race deck, but it is also an amazing freeride deck as well. It is imperative for a rider to be comfortable on their board when they are pushing their limits, so FB made sure the rider has plenty of wheelbase options to find their perfect combination with the multiple hole patterns. The Double Agent has a solid concave throughout the 24” standing platform to keep the rider's feet locked in at all times. The nose is slightly turned up so there is more predictability and stability in high speed turns when a rider is bombing hills. This longboard deck also has wheel sandouts to help reduce the risk of wheelbite. The Double Agent was built for speed and control.
The Double Agent from Faceplant Boardriders is your downhill topmount deck that can also Double as a downhill freeride longboard; hence the name 'Double Agent'. The deck starts at $149 (and only goes up with a custom order). FB Owner/Rider Rob Wheeler said, "We don’t believe in boundaries, so why limit a board to just one graphic. At Faceplant Boardriders, custom art is always an option along with the many unique art pieces we already produce."
