Through programs such as this, we hope to give new customers the push and self-assurance they need to make owning a home a reality.
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) January 22, 2013
Zeman Homes, headquartered in Chicago, IL, is a premier provider of manufactured homes. Zeman owns and operates over 30 manufactured home neighborhoods located throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. Despite already offering the most affordable manufactured homes in the Midwest, Zeman Homes is always looking for new ways to help customers save. Just as they did in 2012, Zeman is now offering a way for new customers to use their previous year’s tax return to help them take that first step towards buying a new manufactured home. Last year Zeman offered their “Dreamfund” program, which allowed customers to use their federal tax refund as an easy way to establish a down payment on a home in one of Zeman’s many affordable neighborhoods.
This year Zeman will take their tax refund program one step further with the “Double Your Tax Dollars” promotion. From now until March 15, 2013, Zeman Homes will match the buyer’s down payment via a selling price discount, up to $1,500.
Here is how it works: When a new homebuyer applies the money that they receive from their 2012 federal tax return to make a down payment on a manufactured home, Zeman Homes will match this amount and subtract it from the base selling price of the home. Now, of course there are some limitations. Zeman will match up to $750 of the customer’s refund on a home priced anywhere from $5,000 to $24,999 and up to $1,500 on homes priced at $25,000 or more.
Down payments and manufactured home prices at Zeman range from neighborhood to neighborhood. At their higher priced locations such as Michigan City, IN, a home can cost up to $65,900 with a $3,295 down payment. But at certain locations like Rosebud in Bridgeview and Willoway Terrace in Arlington Heights, the price of a home can be as low as $10,000 with a down payment of only $500.
“Taking that leap and putting a down payment on a home is not always the easiest thing to do,” noted Dee Pizer, CEO of Zeman Homes. “Through programs such as this, we hope to give new customers the push and self-assurance they need to make owning a home a reality.”
