Chocolate and flowers are so 'last year.' Since the world did not end, this is the year to see it.
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) January 23, 2013
Spirit Quest Tours has announced its “Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Deal” on three trips of a lifetime. The Las Vegas-based spiritual tour company has scheduled a number of romantic trips just in time for love-struck men or women to surprise the Valentine in their life.
“Chocolate and flowers are so ‘last year.’ The end of the world did not come, and that makes this year the year to see it,” says Halle Eavelyn, author, travel blogger, and co-owner of Spirit Quest Tours.
Spirit Quest has developed itineraries for three romantic destinations in 2013: France, Bali and Spain. In addition to visiting some of the most popular sites in these countries, trips with Spirit Quest Tours are designed to offer spiritual experiences and off-the-beaten-path destinations that individual travelers simply will not see.
Eavelyn says the first tour, "Path of the Magdalene," is the perfect romantic adventure for couples, offering a convergence of spirituality and stunning locales in France that she says will get lovebirds all atwitter. The trip is scheduled for May 21 – May 30, with an optional extension trip to Paris through June 3.
The tour includes stops at the famous Gypsy Festival of Saintes-Meries-de-la-Mer and a week exploring the medieval villages in the South of France. The extension features time in one of the world's most romantic cities: Paris, capped off with a farewell dinner on the Seine River.
“The whole emphasis of the tour is on the convergence of the Divine Masculine and Sacred Feminine, so it’s a great experience for couples wanting to get closer,” said Eavelyn. “Of course, there’s also an emphasis on exclusivity and privacy.” To that end, couples will stay in their own houses in the Languedoc region, and the Paris extension will offer both private tours of Chartres Cathedral and the Louvre Museum.
”Eat, Pray, Love: Bali” is a six-day adventure in Bali that will follow in the footsteps of the best-selling book author Elizabeth Gilbert. Luxury accommodations are just the start of a week that Eavelyn says can be life-changing. The tour is scheduled for June 22 – 28, with optional extensions to July 2.
“Bali has a spiritual core that is undeniably powerful. Our trip will include opportunities to cleanse the mind, body and soul, with meditation, visits to Bali temples, opportunities for body readings and personal healing, and plenty of time for relaxation and romance,” Eavelyn says. “Many of our guests have experienced profound spiritual shifts while on our Bali tours, and couples always have a fantastic time.”
The “Tilting at Windmills” tour of Madrid includes an optional a pre-tour extension to Barcelona. The trip is designed to delve into the landscapes, culture, and culinary delights of the Spanish region now known as the food capital of the world. The tour is scheduled for September 2013 and will include a paella-making class and dinner at the remarkable Botin, the oldest restaurant in the world.
“Spain has remarkable history, literature, architecture, food and wine. It’s the land of Hemingway, Cervantes, Sangria and tapas. It’s a country full of romance and adventure,” Eavelyn says.
For a limited time, until February 14, travelers can reserve two spots on any of the three romantic tours with a deposit of just $300 total, a 2-for1 deposit deal that nets them $150 each off the cost of their tour.
