Akron, OH (PRWEB) January 24, 2013

On Friday, January 11, 2013, Brain Host presented charitable partner Habitat for Humanity of Summit County with a check for $3,104. This initial donation was the proceeds from the Facebook sweepstakes the local web hosting provider ran throughout December 2012.

With this donation, Brain Host is not only contributing to a local project, but is able to officially sponsor a new house being built in the community. Groundbreaking will be in Spring 2013, and volunteers from the company will participate in the construction of the home.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to help those in need, and for the generosity of our clients,” says Brain Host President and CEO Ryan Niddel. “We are very pleased that we’re able to make such a positive impact with our first of many contributions to Habitat for Humanity.”

Brain Host donated $1.00 for each of the 1552 new Facebook “likes” received in December, then matched the final amount. Jim Sukys, Habitat for Humanity of Summit County’s Director of Development, visited the company’s corporate office to receive the donation.
