RE/MAX® Legacy Broker/Owner and REALTOR®, Kerissa Payne was recently installed as the President of The Tyler Chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS. Payne, who recently expanded her own business, was honored at an event held in November, which was attended by State and local officials.
On November 14, 2012 at the Greater Tyler Association of REALTORS building, The Tyler Chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS (WCR) held it’s installation of the 2013 leadership. The event recognized and installed Payne as 2013 President, Danielle Buffington as President-Elect, Sandra Browning as Treasurer and Cindy Covalt as Secretary.
In attendance at the meeting both State and local WCR leadership was represented. WCR State President Sylvia Seabolt, WCR Dallas County Chapter President Nancy Garcia and WCR Dallas County Chapter President-Elect Rebecca Lightfoot were all on hand for the event. According to Payne, “It is a real honor to serve in this capacity and I look forward to what the upcoming year holds!”
Payne has been a practicing REALTOR® since 2008 and is familiar with both the Tyler and Lindale areas since she has lived there most of her life. Payne has built her own agency into one of the foremost agencies in the area. In the fall of 2012, Payne purchased a RE/MAX® franchise, opening RE/MAX® Legacy in Lindale, Texas.
Payne is an active member of The National Association of Realtors, the Texas Realtors Association and the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors. RE/MAX® is the industry leader in total transactions, web visits and advertising.
