CHICAGO (PRWEB) January 23, 2013
Cumulus Data Inc., the creator of eCloudCollect™, a cloud-based forensic collection tool, today announced that industry veteran, Sarah Thompson (née Sims) has joined the Cumulus Data team as VP of Product Management. Thompson will be responsible for overseeing the roadmap, strategy and operations of the eCloudCollect offering. With a restructured channel partner program and adjusted product pricing model, she has hit the ground running making changes that better meet the needs of the industry and its clients by implementing pricing that enables unlimited collections for a single low-cost flat fee with the flexibility to choose the desired level of commitment.
“These initiatives address the challenges and high costs surrounding ESI collection, and the growing need to provide predictable pricing and alternative fee arrangements in the industry.” stated Thompson.
Thompson’s knowledge and expertise in the field of litigation support technology is extensive. Over the past decade, she has held senior management positions at top legal software and services providers in the industry including LexisNexis and iCONECT Development, LLC. A natural “builder,” Thompson has made a career of building software and hosting businesses by assessing the specific needs of the top law firms, government agencies and corporations in the U.S. and around the world, and creating solutions to meet these needs—both from a software and technology perspective. She has been instrumental in positioning and managing some of the leading legal technology offerings including iCONECT, iCONECTglobal, the Concordance® suite, Hosted FYI™ and LexisNexis Hosted Litigation Solutions (HLS).
In her new role as VP of Product Management at Cumulus Data, Thompson is also responsible for identifying and implementing growth opportunities to enrich the eCloudCollect product and expand the offering on a global scale.
"We are thrilled to have Sarah on our team," said Trent Walton, President of Cumulus Data. "Her industry experience is invaluable and we have received a positive response to the changes she has made,” he added. “We look forward to continuing the development of our product offering and delivering a stronger value proposition to our partners and clients."
Thompson and the Cumulus Data team will be attending this year’s LegalTech conference from January 29 – 31, 2013 at the Hilton New York in booth #2008.
