In his new position as manager traffic quality operations, Naumann will oversee Trademob’s anti-fraud efforts and work to bolster the company’s already impressive click fraud protection offerings. Additionally, Naumann will work with Trademob data scientists to establish measurements that ensure optimal traffic quality.
Naumann’s hiring illustrates the importance Trademob places on combating click fraud and increasing traffic quality to make more effective and sensible ad campaigns for its clients. According to a recent Trademob study, 40 percent of ad clicks from mobile devices are useless – either accidental or fraudulent. Naumann and his team will work to establish new traffic quality standards in the industry.
Naumann’s proficiency and experience in the space will be a welcome addition to Trademob’s already comprehensive click fraud initiatives. Naumann will grow his department, which will focus on elevating the quality of mobile traffic, out of Trademob’s Berlin office.
Prior to joining Trademob, Naumann was manager network quality operations at Zanox, Europe’s leading performance advertising network, where he spent five years building up its quality operations department. Before working at Zanox, Naumann was on staff at eBay International and IBM in Germany.
