VIPdesk, the leading provider of home-based customer service jobs, announced today that the company is hiring skilled applicants to work from home as virtual customer service representatives (Brand Ambassadors) within the next 30 days. Ideal candidates will have previous experience excelling in customer support roles and demonstrate both the technical savvy and proactive customer service skills. Home-based Brand Ambassadors will represent a leading national home improvement brand by replying to inbound customer requests and providing support and information to trusted contractors.

Since VIPdesk’s Brand Ambassadors work from their homes, all job applicants must possess a home office that is conducive to taking customer calls—quiet and free from distraction. All VIPdesk customer service representatives, called “Brand Ambassadors,” must provide a computer, Internet and telephone that meet company requirements, as well as possess strong computer and Internet skills and the ability to learn quickly in a technical environment.

Part-time CSRs will work 15-34 hours/week, with full-time CSRs working 35-40 hours per week. Part-time CSRs must be available during the shifts of 2pm – 10pm Eastern Time, M-F and Sunday. Full-time CSRs must be available during the hours of 8am – 8pm M-F and Sunday. Holiday work may also be required. Paid training starts in March 2013.

All candidates must pass a background check and reside in the states of Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington or Wisconsin.
