The National Society of Leadership and Success (http://www.societyleadership.org/), the innovative leadership program for higher education where leaders are built to make a better world, today announced that as part of the 2012-2013 academic year scholarship and grant program there are two scholarship programs with submission deadlines of February 15, 2013 worth up to a total of $20,000.

The National Society of Leadership and Success (http://www.societyleadership.org/), the innovative leadership program for higher education where leaders are built to make a better world, today announced that as part of the 2012-2013 academic year scholarship and grant program there are two scholarship programs with submission deadlines of February 15, 2013 worth up to a total of $20,000. This initiative is to provide members with financial assistance for higher education. The Society’s scholarship program will help awarded members to continue their education, pursue their dreams, and find innovative ways to support their communities.

With over 247,000 members at 340 college chapters nationwide, the Society offers life-changing speakers and serves as a powerful force of good in the greater community by encouraging and organizing action to better the world. Society founder Gary Tuerack stated, “We are dream supporters – we build leaders, support people in achieving their dreams, and better the world in the process. We get people to ask the all-important question 'What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?' and then help them to achieve those goals.” Mr. Tuerack continues, “With the National Society of Leadership and Success Scholarship and Grant program we are reinforcing our commitment to build leaders who make a better world. Our vision for this program is to support the next generation of leaders and propel the future careers of those who embody the Society’s values. Offering this scholarship and grant program contributes to our value of dream supporters as we look forward to awarding these scholarships and grants throughout the academic year."

Next round of scholarships and grants:
Dream Support Grant: (Submission deadline dates February 1 -15)
This $10,000 grant competition is conducted four times annually. The purpose of this grant is to support individuals in achieving their dreams. Applicants are encouraged to be creative: the primary guiding requirement for this funding is that the request will have a significant impact on achieving your dreams. Individual award amounts will be based upon amount requested, estimated impact upon achievement of personal dream, and strength of submission.

Better World Grant: (Submission deadline dates February 1 - 15)
This $10,000 grant competition is conducted four times annually. Applicants submit a proposal for a project, business or other endeavor that furthers the Society's mission "we build leaders who make a better world" and specify the requested grant amount. Individual award amounts will be based upon amount requested, estimated impact of project/business, and strength of submission.
