National Security and Senior Special Operations Expert Pete Aubrey Joins MEP

MEP (Mission Essential Personnel, LLC) today announced it hired seasoned special operations veteran Pete Aubrey, who will lead the company’s efforts supporting Fort Bragg, NC, and the broader special operations community. A retired U.S. Army Special Forces Colonel with 34 years of experience, Aubrey is expanding MEP’s North Carolina presence where the company will develop intelligence and operational support solutions for global special operations.

“As MEP’s senior representative to the U.S. Special Operations Command, Pete brings an understanding of strategic challenges confronting both conventional and special operations forces,” Paul Clemens, MEP Senior Vice President of Operations. “He adds significant operational skill and a drive to develop unique SOF solutions that will enable mission success.”

Prior to joining MEP, Aubrey served as Commander, Army Security Assistance Training Management Organization, a brigade-equivalent command headquartered at Fort Bragg, which executed foreign training assistance for the Army. An accomplished Special Forces officer with service in both the 3rd and 5th Special Forces Groups, he is also one of the most experienced Foreign Areas Officers focused on Africa, having served in operational and diplomatic assignments throughout the continent for more than 20 years. Highlights of his service include as the first Director, Security Cooperation for U.S. Army Africa, and as the Defense and Army Attaché to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as well as in a variety of other operational and diplomatic assignments throughout the world.
