Encouraging Innovation, Onsharp Sponsors Innovation Week 2013

Onsharp is excited to be a sponsor of Innovation Week 2013 sponsored by the North Dakota State University Office of the Provost in partnership with the NDSU Research and Technology Park. http://www.ndsuresearchpark.com/Pages/default.aspx By sponsoring this event, Onsharp hopes to help encourage growth in innovative technology and entrepreneurship in our community.

Innovation week begins February 25 and concludes on March 1 and features a variety of events including breakout sessions, guest speakers, and the highlight of Innovation Week for the students competing, the Innovation Challenge ’13.

This year marks the 2nd annual Innovation Challenge. All NDSU students that are engaged in an innovative activity are eligible and encouraged to compete. Submitted projects can be part of a course, a recognized extracurricular group or an independent activity.

From the group of entries, finalists have been selected from each of the following tracks:

•     Innovations of tangible goods of any kind
•     Innovations of an intangible nature – services, methods or processes
•     Innovations of goods and/or services that involve new use of corn or methods in its production or processing – grain stalks, cobs, oil, protein, etc.

These finalists will be judged on February 27, and the winners will be announced on February 28.
