Graphic design and print firm Urban Imaging Group has been acquired by Oohology, an award winning web design, development, and marketing agency based in Louisville, Kentucky. Urban Imaging specializes in designing and printing banners, digital menus, digital signage, trade show booths, traditional print collateral, storefront window graphics and large-format printing and signage.
Urban Imaging currently has a staff of eight employees in its Northwest Chicago office, with plans to increase that number to at least 12 in 2013. Rick Chavez, Urban Imaging’s principal, has become a vice president and a shareholder at Oohology.
“Joining Oohology provides us with the necessary infrastructure, resources and interactive capabilities to better service our customer base,” said Rick Chavez, principal, Urban Imaging Group.
With an existing sales office already in Chicago, the acquisition is a move to increase Oohology’s diverse expertise by combining efforts with the design and print professionals at Urban Imaging.
